SR 1316 – Tar Heel Ferry Road
Tar Heel Ferry Road opened Wednesday; however, work there is not complete. There is still a final layer of pavement to be placed AFTER the demolition of the old bridge is complete. Thus, the ‘bumps’ out there are not permanent but just temporary until the final layer is placed.
CLOSINGS:
NC 210
NC 210 remains closed 0.2 miles northwest of SR 1529 (George Long Road). Work should wrap up on this double replacement by the end of the week.
NC 211
NC 211 east of Clarkton remains closed for bridge rehab work.
No additional closings are planned for the upcoming week.
