The Bladen County Animal Shelter will not be participating in the White Lake Water Park’s Dog Day of Summer Event on September 10th, 2017, due to the potential of hazardous weather.
This week’s Pet of the Week is a 2 year old pit-mix named Sparky. He’s friendly towards other dogs and will make a great family pet!
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and $40 to adopt a cat which includes the animal’s first required shots. The adoption hours are Monday to Friday from noon until 5 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
