The Bladen County Pet of the Week for this week is Oatmeal. He is a 3 year-old pit-mix that loves to give out free hugs and he gets along with other dogs. He likes just about everyone he meets including children. Oatmeal is very friendly. All Oatmeal needs is for a loving family to come and adopt him!
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and $40 to adopt a cat which includes the animal’s first required shots.
The adoption hours are Monday to Friday at noon until 5:00 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
