This week a three to five year old lab and shepherd mix male dog by the name of Bolo has been chosen to be Pet of the Week! According to the Bladen County Animal Shelter staff he has been at the shelter for three weeks now.

Staff at the animal shelter say Bolo is both very sweet and friendly. He is also playful and gets along with other dogs. Bolo also gets along with children, making him a good family pet! He’s waiting at Bladen County Animal Shelter for his forever family. Please come and take him home!

The Shelter has a variety of pets ready for adoption. The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and $40 to adopt a cat which includes the animal’s first required shots.

The adoption hours are Monday to Friday at 12:00 noon  until 5:00 p.m. To support your local shelter donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.

Bladen County Animal Shelter is located at 506 Smith Cir, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. For more information or questions call (910)862-6918.
