This week a 4 month old female named Angel has been chosen for Pet of the Week. This sweet little girl loves attention and is very affectionate to everyone. She just loves to play and cuddle with her favorite people.
Bladen County Animal Shelter will be waiving the adoption fees for dogs and cats through Dec. 29.
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and to adopt a cat is $40, which includes the animal’s first required shots.
The adoption hours are Monday to Friday from noon until 5 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
