Elizabethtown, NC – The Bladen County Public Library is inviting the community to make Valentine’s Day a little brighter for local nursing home residents. Through a heartfelt initiative, the library is encouraging people to donate stuffed animals and handmade Valentines cards to bring joy and comfort to seniors.

Participants can contribute by making homemade Valentine cards with words of encouragement and donating new stuffed animals. These small gestures aim to remind nursing home residents that they are loved and appreciated.

All donations should be dropped off at the Bladen County Public Library, located at 111 N. Cypress St., Elizabethtown, NC 28337, by February 7, 2025.
