The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued an updated list of road openings and closings in Bladen County. Currently there are no road openings.
CLOSINGS:
Center Road
Center Road is closed with a posted detour in both directions. The road is closed for bridge construction and miscellaneous roadway work. Is expected to be closed until July 3, 2018.
Mercer Mill
Mercer Mill Road was closed on Monday, February 26th, to replace Bridge 32. The closure was expected to last for 120 days. It is located just North of the Rosindale Road intersection. It is currently posed at 5 tons.
Boggy Branch Road
Boggy Branch Road is closed for a crossline pipe replacement. The road will be closed 24/7 until complete – end time approximately May 31.
ELWELL FERRY:
Is closed due to high water
