The 17th annual Port City Orthopaedics Battleship NC Half Marathon and Battleship 5K is one of the best undiscovered Destination Races you’ll ever do according to the Battleship’s race website.
Alan Maynard, from Bladen County, won his age group and finished in the top 100 out of 1152 participants.
Bob Mundy from Bladen County has participated in every race for last 17 years.
Also participating from Bladen County in either the Half-Marathon or the 5K were Todd Burney, Dawn Maynard, Sharon and Hayley Baxley.
