Bladen County Schools (BCS) recently celebrated the achievements of its educators and leaders in a public social media announcement. The district expressed excitement in recognizing the outstanding contributions made by these professionals over the past year.

In the announcement, BCS unveiled the 2024-2025 educator awards, honoring individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, creativity, and passion in their roles. The awards and recipients are as follows:

– Teacher Assistant of the Year: Chasity Wilkins, Bladenboro Primary
– CTE Teacher of the Year: Elizabeth Roberson, West Bladen High School
– Beginning Teacher of the Year: Jazmin Salgado-Baza, Elizabethtown Primary
– Teacher of the Year: Tracy Miller, Bladenboro Primary
– Principal of the Year: Peggy Hester, West Bladen High School

BCS highlighted these educators’ significant impact on their students’ lives, emphasizing their remarkable contributions and dedication to excellence in education.
