Bladen County Schools announced the Schools holiday schedule and information to attend their public scheduled meeting on their social media accounts this afternoon.
The first post stated, “Bladen County Schools will observe the July 4th holiday on Monday, July 6. All school operations, including the meal delivery by bus program, will be closed. Operations will resume on Tuesday, July 7.”
The second post stated, “ICYMI: The Bladen County Board of Education will meet in a special called session on Monday, June 29, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be conducted virtually.

The purpose of this meeting is to close out the end of the school year, take action on agenda items, and to discuss personnel matters, as per NCGS 143.318.11 (a) (1), and to consult with an attorney if needed, as per the NCGS 143.318.11 (a) (3).
A hyperlink will be activated prior to the meeting to allow the public to listen to the meeting virtually.
