According to Bladen County Schools, starting in August, when students return to school on the 23rd, uniforms will be required in all Bladen County Schools. The uniform policy adopted in 2012 by the Bladen County Schools Board of Education was put on pause in March 2020 during the Covid pandemic.
With schools fully reopening this fall for face-to-face instruction five days a week, the uniform policy will be reinstated.
Every student is required to arrive at school appropriately dressed. Students who fail to adhere to the uniform dress code will be required to find appropriate clothing or call a parent to bring proper clothing. A second or repeated violation of this policy will result in disciplinary consequences. The final judgment will be left to school administrators.
The Bladen County Schools’ website stated, “We’re excited to tell you that our schools are now using a cool, new tool to help make the back-to-school supply list chore easier for our teachers and parents— TeacherLists.”
According to officials, it’s a one-stop site where you can always find the most up-to-date supply lists and teacher wish lists for your child’s school. To instantly access the lists, simply click on the “School Supply List” link on each of our school’s websites in their banner ad, or here to be taken to the district site. This will take you directly to the school district’s page on TeacherLists. From there you can select your child’s school. Or, you can go directly to www.teacherLists.com and type in your school’s zip code to find the supply lists.
The lists are available 24/7 from any device—even on your smartphone while you’re out at the store (no more worrying about lost lists!). And, you can even choose one-stop shopping with one click to a prefilled cart on Amazon, Target, and Walmart (Staples coming soon). You can even “follow” your teacher’s lists to be instantly updated if it changes.
