A post on the Bladen County Board of Education Facebook page states:

“All Bladen County Schools will operate on a regular schedule on Monday, October 5. We do not anticipate any delays or changes to the schedule. DOT and Emergency Operations have assessed the roads and have given the all-clear for travel. Should any changes need to be made we will announce on our Facebook and Twitter pages.”

The National Weather Service’s forecast for Bladen County tonight and Monday:

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 62. Breezy, with a northeast wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches possible.

Monday: Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 67. Breezy, with a north wind 18 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
