Bladen County Schools (BCS) has announced the closure of all school buildings, district offices, and activities on Friday, January 24, due to continued widespread hazardous road conditions. This decision prioritizes the safety of students, staff, and the community.
There will be no remote learning for students on this day. Additionally, all activities and events scheduled for Friday and throughout the weekend have been canceled. BCS families and staff will receive further updates from the superintendent later today.
The district has encouraged families to monitor all communication channels for any additional updates. Bladen County Schools appreciates the cooperation of the community as they navigate these weather-related challenges.
