Bladen County Schools will transition to remote learning Friday because of the threat of inclement weather, the system announced Wednesday morning.
All school buildings will be closed to students and staff on Friday.
Instructions for completing assignments for Friday will be given to students before leaving school on Thursday, a news release said.
Bladen County is under a winter storm watch beginning midnight Friday with periods of freezing rain and possibly some snow expected this weekend.
