Bladen County Schools is set to offer a summer feeding program this year. The program will consist of breakfast and lunch, according to Bladen County Schools Nutrition Director Amy Stanley.

Stanley told the Healthy Bladen Collaborative the program is set to begin on June 18th and will continue through July 31st at Elizabethtown Middle School, Bladeboro Middle School, and West Bladen High School. Stanley said the West Bladen High School summer feeding program will most likely remain open until classes resume in August. Hours for the summer feeding program are 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The meals are free of charge.

Stanley said if you are operating a summer camp, Vacation Bible School, summer enrichment programs, Parks and Recreation programs, or other activities, Bladen County Schools will assist you with providing meals and snacks through the Summer Feeding Program.
