Many growers test soils regularly to provide the best quality nutrients for their crops. Citizens now have the opportunity to receive a report on their property’s soil with no out of pocket expense. N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services boxes for soil testing are available from April until November for soil testing.

Steve Troxler, NC Commissioner of Agriculture says, “Thank you for using agronomic services to manage nutrients and safeguard environmental quality.”

Boxes for soil testing are available for all citizens in NC at the local NC Cooperative  Extension office. Bladen County’s Office is located at 450 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown, NC.
