The Bladen County Special Olympics has been invited to participate in an invitational in New Hanover County on Sunday, October 8th, in the sport of Bocce. Any athletes, child and adult, who are interested in participating, must contact Shayla Yancey by Friday, September 22, 2017.
The Bocce invitational will take place at Legion Stadium in Wilmington. Check-in for the event is from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. and warm ups start at 9:30 a.m and the competition will begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will be provided for all coaches, volunteers and athletes.
