Many areas of Bladen County have reported multitudes of mosquitos in their communities since Hurricane Florence left town. Bladen County Environmental Health said they would like to thank everyone for their concern and calls, but would like to notify everyone that the whole county will be sprayed for Mosquitos. No more calls are needed to specify areas, and mosquito spraying is currently underway.”
Marianne Valentiner, Health Educator II at the Bladen County Health Department said, “Currently we are out of Mosquito dunks and a new shipment has been ordered. We will notify the public of when the dunks are available.”
