In February of 2022, Agents with Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, in conjunction with Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit began a joint investigation regarding the distribution of Methamphetamine and Heroin in the Clarkton Area of Bladen County. This investigation resulted in the successful seizure of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Marijuana and several arrest.
On February 7 th 2022, Agents apprehended and charged Jashaune George, 26, of Clarkton with:
- possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver
- methamphetamine- (1) count
- possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin
- sell and deliver heroin- (1) count
- sell and deliver heroin-(1) count
- sell and deliver scheduled II-controlled substance –(1) count
- simple possession of schedule VI-controlled substance-(1) count
Jashaune George received a secured bond in the amount of $125,000 and is currently being held at Bladen County Sheriff’s Detention Center.
Savon George, 20, of Lumberton was apprehended on an un-related warrant of assault of a child under the age of 12. Savon George received an unsecured bond in the amount of $1,000 and was released.
