ELIZABETHTOWN – The Braves swept both ends of a doubleheader Tuesday night from the Yard Goats winning the completion of a suspended game 2-0 then taking the nightcap 14-1 in Dixie Boys Baseball action at County Park. With the 2 victories, the Braves wrapped up the league title with an 8-1 record.

Both Braves runs were scored before the game was suspended by weather. Luke Bryant and Cole Brisson belted 1st inning singles, and Devan Stanley walked. Andrew Wren knocked in Bryant and Brisson with a single.
Bryant, Brisson, Stanley and Wren connected for 1 hit each for the Braves. Drake Gause smacked a 4th inning single for the Yard Goats. Chase Bryan struck out 4 batters in his 2 innings on the mound for the Braves Tuesday night.

Cole Brisson pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless, 1-hit relief and struck out 4 batters to lead the Braves to a 14-1 victory over the Yard Goats in the nightcap.
Chase Bryan started on the mound for the Braves and gave up walks to Corben Chadwick and Brady Marlowe and hit Gaston Russ with a pitch. Stryker Pait’s fielder’s choice scored Chadwick.
Luke Bryant, Cole Brisson and Chase Bryan smacked consecutive singles to start the Braves’ 1st inning. Brooks Carroll’s fielder’s choice plated a run, and Andrew Wren cracked a single. Bryant, Cole Brisson and Chase Bryan scored as the Braves grabbed the early lead.
Gavin Brisson delivered a single, and Jeremiah Bryan walked to begin the Braves’ 2nd inning. Chase Moultrie laced a single to right field, and Bryant smoked a single. Cole Brisson, Chase Bryan, Ashton Bryan and Carroll all drew walks. Gavin Brisson, Jeremiah Bryan, Moultrie, Bryant and Cole Brisson all scored as the lead grew to 8-1.
Devan Stanley led off the Braves’ 3rd inning with a single, and Gavin Brisson reached base on an error. Jeremiah Bryan swatted a single to right, and Bryant was hit by a pitch. Cole Brisson ripped a double to left. Stanley, Gavin Brisson, Jeremiah Bryan and Bryant scored in the inning as the lead swelled to 12-1.
Ashton Bryan walked, and Carroll lashed a single to right in the Braves’ 4th inning. Stanley walloped a triple that plated Ashton Bryan and Carroll.
Cole Brisson batted 2-for-2 with a double, 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs for the Braves. Bryant finished 2-for-2 at the plate with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI. Stanley batted 2-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and 2 RBIs. Chase Bryan, Carroll, Wren, Gavin Brisson, Jeremiah Bryan and Moultrie added 1 hit each.
Gavin Brisson and Jeremiah Bryan scored 2 runs each, Moultrie, Carroll, Chase Bryan and Ashton Bryan scored 1 run each. Chase Bryan had 2 RBIs. Ashton Bryan, Carroll, Wren, Jeremiah Bryan and Moultrie had 1 RBI each.
Chadwick had the Yard Goat hit and scored a run. Pait had 1 RBI.
