The Bladen FC Under-15 Blue team won both the regular-season and tournament championships of the Sandhills Soccer League.
The Sandhills Soccer League is made up of teams from Pembroke, Lumberton, St. Pauls, Fayetteville, Hoke County and Bladen County.
In their tournament semi-final game, Bladen FC U15 Blue defeated St. Pauls 3-1. Malcolm Bolden, Garrett Melvin and Jackson Bostic fired in one goal each for the Bladen team.
In the championship game, Bladen FC U15 Blue shutout Hoke County 3-0. Melvin, Will Hester and Ethan Martinez scored one goal each for the winners. The game was stopped by lightning ten minutes into the second half.
