ELIZABETHTOWN – Clarkton School of Discovery won the Bladen Five Middle School Conference Volleyball Tournament Thursday night with a 2-0 victory over Bladenboro in the championship game by set scores of 25-19 and 25-13.

Coach Chris Callihan’s Lady Blue Devils were the regular season champs and advanced to the title match with a 2-0 victory over East Arcadia by set scores of 25-10 and 25-15. Clarkton finished the season with a 6-0 record.

Bladenboro reached the title match with a 2-0 victory over Elizabethtown by set scores of 25-18 and 25-18.

In Thursday’s opening match East Arcadia defeated Tar Heel 2-1 by set scores of 19-25, 25-16 and 15-12.

Bladenboro’s Lady Bulldogs are the Bladen Five Middle School Conference tournament Runners-up. Coach Jessica Rhodes’ team also finished second in the regular season with a 3-1 record. Bladenboro finished the season with a 4-2 overall mark.
