The Bladen Hardware Store located at 138 S. Poplar Street in Elizabethtown was broken into on Sunday night and items were taken, according to the Elizabethtown Police Department.

Lt. D. Cheshire said someone gained entry to the store through the rear doors and removed some firearms from the premises. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is assisting in the investigation.

He said law enforcement does have some leads they are following. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Elizabethtown Police Department at 910-862-3152.
