A MasTec Line Crew, was busy installing new equipment for Duke Energy before the rains came on Thursday. The MasTec crew was high in the air on Thursday afternoon on Peanut Road in Elizabethtown attaching lines to new poles.
William Faulk, with MasTec, said crews are in the process of installing new electrical lines, new poles, new transformers, and removing old lines. He said the work is expected to last two months.
The section of Peanut Road affected by the project is from Broad Street to the radio tower, according to Faulk.
