It’s strange when a 16 percent drop in page views from the previous week still feels good. But, thanks to you, our loyal readers, that’s the feeling at Bladen Online.
Why? Because the drop followed the best week in Bladen Online’s eight-year history (125,908), and because the 100,000 page view mark was surpassed for a record third consecutive week. Bladen Online has surpassed 100,000 page views for a week less than 10 times in eight years, and three of those weeks are the most recent.
Another encouraging sign is there wasn’t a dominant story, but lots of stories that drew interest. There were 25 stories that were viewed at least 300 times. The big stories draw traffic, which we like, but we also try to have something for everyone.
