Holidays are not good for Web traffic. Most folks want to get out of their routine, and, rightfully so. For Labor Day — Monday, Sept. 7 — Bladen Online’s page views were down about 50 percent from the previous Monday. That large drop is almost expected.

The rest of the week, you, our loyal readers, made up for taking off Monday. Bladen Online surpassed 100,000 page views for a record fourth consecutive week. Bladen Online had surpassed 100,000 page views only about a handful of times in its eight year history prior to this four-week run.

Can this pace be maintained? It’s up to you, the reader, and us, by giving you stories you’re interested in reading. We won’t rest on our laurels, but we’ll take satisfaction in knowing you rely on Bladen Online to tell the story of Bladen County.

We thank our advertisers and readers for your continued support. It’s a great place to get your business in front of Bladen County residents. To advertise, contact us at (910) 879-1029 or bladenonline.com@gmail.com
