The Force tacked on a trio of runs in the final inning to seal a 7-3 victory over the Glory in Bladen Recreation 11-12 softball action Tuesday night.

Violet Allen led off the game with a double to centerfield and raced home on an error. Kaitlynn Brisson beat out an infield hit, and Emmee Ward lined a double to left that plated Brisson for a 2-0 Glory lead.

Megan Spellman was hit by a pitch, and Laci Storms beat out an infield hit to begin the Force first inning. Georgia Hester drove in Spellman with a hit, and Storms raced home on an error to tie the game 2-2.

Gracie Todd walloped a home run to right-centerfield to begin the Glory third inning. Hannah Richardson ripped a single to centerfield and scored on Molly Pait’s infield hit to boost the Glory lead to 4-2.

Spellman smacked a single to start the Force third inning, and Storms followed with a single that plated Spellman and trimmed the margin to 4-3.

Kennedy Carroll hammered a triple to right-centerfield in the final inning and scored on Erin Murdock’s infield hit. Morgan Benson smashed a double to right-centerfield that scored Murdock. Ava Mohr’s infield hit plated Benson for a 7-3 lead.

Mohr batted a perfect 2-2 with a run batted in to lead the Glory bitters. Todd slugged the solo homer. Carroll tripled and scored a run. Benson and Ward slammed rbi doubles.

Allen, Pait, Brisson, Murdock and Richardson belted one hit each. Pait and Murdock drove in runs, and Allen, Brisson, Murdock and Richardson scored one run each.

Storms batted 2-2 with a run scored to lead the Force hitters. Hester, Spellman, and Joelene Merritt connected for one hit each. Hester drove in a run, and Spellman and Hester scored one run each.

Carroll pitched the first two innings and struck out 2 batters for the winners. Allen relieved her and pitched the final 2 innings, striking out one batter.
