Megan Pait pitched a one-hit shutout as the Thunder defeated the Force 10-0 Monday night in Bladen Recreation 11-12 softball action.

Pait recorded three strike-outs in the game and also batted a perfect 2-2 with 2 runs scored. Kaden Thurman batted 2-2 for the winners and scored twice. Teammate Brooke Singletary also turned in a perfect 2-2 performance at the plate.

Shortstop Lena Trinidad batted 2-3, scored a run and knocked in the game-ending run with a fourth inning double.

Catcher Holland Davis, Summer Singletary, Marlie Walters and Haley Bryan added one hit each to the winners attack. Davis, Summer Singletary, Walters, Bryan and Tara Hester scored one run each for the Thunder.

Kennedy Carroll connected for the Force hit in the second inning. Ava Mohr reached base on an error in the third inning for the other Force base-runner.
