The Bladen County Recreation Department’s 12U Boys All-Stars will open State-Wide Activities Committee Sectional play Saturday at 9 a.m. in Wilson against the winner of Friday night’s game between Wilson and Selma.
The double-elimination tournament will be played at the Recreation Park Community Center at 500 Sunset Rd, NW in Wilson.
With a win Saturday morning Bladen County will play at 2 p.m. Saturday. A loss would send the Bladen team into a 1 p.m. elimination game. The tournament championship games will be played Sunday afternoon.
Members of the Bladen County team are: Dominick Collins, Hezekiah Blanks-Adams, Darius Williamson, Zach Metz, J’marius (DA) Smith, Jaylan Chase Knight, I’Keir Murchison, Andre Moore, Chase Williams, Zamar Lewis, Tay-von Smith and Javarrie Adams.
Head Coach of the Bladen All-Stars is LeuMichael Smith. Assistant coaches are Jamar Moore and Dom Whittington.
