The summer wave of nutrition is coming to five Bladen County schools this summer.
Free summer meals will be offered by Bladen County School’s School Nutrition Department to anyone 18 years and younger beginning in June. The Dairy Alliance helps sponsor the program.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Meals will be offered at the following schools:
Bladenboro Middle: June 17 through Aug. 3
West Bladen High: June 17 through Aug. 23
Elizabethtown Middle: June 17 through Aug. 3
East Arcadia Elementary: June 17 through July 3
Clarkton School of Discovery: June 24 through Aug. 3
Sites are subject to discontinue services due to low participation.
