Bladen County Schools announced Sunday afternoon that with the reopening of the Cape Fear River bridge in Elizabethtown that schools will operate on normal schedule Monday morning.
With the bridge expected to be closed Monday, schools had announced a two-hour delay for students and staff. However, N.C. Department of Transportation crews and other maintenance personnel worked overnight to repair the bridge.
