BladenWeCareDonationBladen We Care was the recipient of a donation from the Dublin Peanut Festival committee on Friday morning.

“We appreciate all you all do,” said Peanut Festival Committee representative Horace Wyatt.

He said that each year, the funds that are generated by the Dublin Peanut Festival are used to help those in need in the community and to give back to the community.

“Bladen We Care does a great job with that with their cancer patients,” said Wyatt.

He added that the committee also donates to Dublin Primary School which is the group’s number one priority.

Mac Campbell said that through Bladen We Care the members are able to serve people with health care needs.

“We serve the residents of Bladen County. We don’t go outside the county,” said Campbell.

Campbell said that recently, Bladen We Care had donated $5,000 to Bladen Community College for a nursing scholarship. Campbell said he had the honor of recently meeting some of the nursing students and hearing their stories.

“This what makes Bladen County a great place to live in,” said Campbell.
