Joyce Walters announced the annual Bladenboro Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Friday, December 4 at the Bladenboro Community Farmers Market. The event is sponsored by Boost the Boro, Bladenboro Rotary Club, and New Light Church. Festivities will begin at 6:30 pm and will include music, singing, and refreshments. Ms. Walters stated Santa and Mrs. Claus plan to attend; and are looking forward to talking to the children, but because of Covid-19, they will be wearing masks and gloves. Please come prepared to wear a mask and social distance.
All activities will be held outside. Bleachers will not be available, so if you would like to sit, just bring a folding chair.
