The 10th annual Beast Fest wouldn’t be complete without the Southeastern Cruisers hosting the Beast Fest Car Show according to some in attendance. This year the Southeastern Cruisers Car Club awarded over 50 trophies to competitors in the show according to Betsy Show, Public Relations Officer for the club.

Miss North Carolina St. Patrick’s Day Queen, Staci Helms, assisted in distributing the trophies at the local car show. The club awarded a total of 19 category class trophies, 15 top trophies and 2 Best in Show trophies among others according to Betsy.

#1–Local resident Glenn Tatum was awarded a Top 15 trophy for his 1967 International Scout.

#2– Older Best of Show winner Jerome Marchmon took  home a 4 foot tall trophy for his 1970 Ford Pickup.

#3–Newer Best of Show winner JB Buell took a 4 foot tall trophy home for his 2016 Roush Ford Mustang

Proceeds raised from the car show will go to the Christmas Program in Bladenboro for children in need according to the event organizers. Besty said, “We would also like to thank our top sponsors, KnB Millwright, Toddlers and Teens, Peterson’s Auto Parts, Cape Fear Chemicals, and Bladen Online.  Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who donated.”
