The Bladenboro Town Board met on Monday night and voted to approve a subdivision plat for Carroll’s Poultry.
Town Administrator John O’Daniel said Carroll’s Poultry, which is located in the Bladenboro Industrial Park, is needing more land for parking spots for trucks and employees to park once the business is operational. He said the company is purchasing the land from Bladen’s Bloomin’. The board approved the measure.
During the town’s May meeting to discuss the 2017-18 budget, it was anticipated Carroll’s Poultry will come online within the next year.
Carroll’s Poultry originally announced plans to locate in the Bladenboro Industrial Park in 2015.
