Bladenboro, NC – The Bladenboro Board of Commissioners is set to hold a special call meeting on July 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM, addressing critical updates to the town’s zoning ordinances and budget adjustments.
Scheduled to take place at the Town Hall, the meeting will begin with the call to order, followed by an invocation and the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioners will then proceed to approve the agenda, which includes discussions on new business items.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Public Hearing for Proposed Text Amendments to the Bladenboro Zoning Ordinance
a. To amend Article 8 Zoning Districts and Table of Uses to allow Manufactured
Homes (Class A) in the R-10 Zoning District as a Permitted Use
b. To amend Article 12 Manufactured Home Parks to decrease the minimum
required acreage from two (2) acres to one (1) acre and to increase the maximum
density from four (4) units per acre to five (5) units per acre.
