It was beautiful day for a parade on Saturday with beautiful blue skies and chilly temperatures made the day feel festive. There were numerous entries for the parade including beauty queens, festive floats and of course the arrival of Santa.
A large crowd lines the streets to enjoy the sight as the floats, fire trucks, police cars, and classic cars made their way through the town. Children squealed with delight when they spotted Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Festive music was supplied by several entries singing such tunes as “Jingle Bells” and “Winter Wonderland.”
The morning kicked off with a Pancake Breakfast Fly In to the Bladenboro Airport. Local pilots and others joined in for pancakes and a day of flying. Planes could be spotted flying over the parade goers.
The Bladenboro Christmas Parade is always a favorite for far and wide and officially kick of the Holiday Season.
