The Bladenboro Board of Commissioners are expected Monday to consider whether to participate in one-stop voting for November’s municipal elections, according to the agenda released Thursday.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Town Hall on Ivey Street. The public is invited to attend.

The board can decide to opt out of one-stop voting or opt in for one location or two. The board also can choose to offer Saturday voting or both Saturday and Sunday voting along with the required Monday through Friday voting.

Three candidates are running to replace Mayor Rufus Duckworth, who decided not to seek re-election. They are Sue Elkins Hester, Joey Todd and David Hales.

Running for three seats on the board are Lisa Levy, Blake Proctor, Gregory Sykes and Jeff Atkinson.

The board also is expected to go into closed session to discuss personnel.

Among other items on the agenda are:

• Boost the ‘Boro stage project completion

• Discussion about estimates for the Pine Ridge Drainage Project

• Approving of zoning ordinance update agreement with Lumber River Council of Governments

• Mowing on private property

• Consideration of yard waste disposal contractor cost and budget amendment.

• Report from Town Administrator Oryan Lowry

• Matters of interest to board members
