A crash at the intersection of NC 242 and NC 211 on Monday afternoon near Bladenboro sent one person to the hospital.
According to North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper G. White, Patricia White of Harrells was driving a 2003 Toyota north on NC 242 and stopped at the stop sign but failed to see a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Winson David Simmons of Bladenboro.
Simmons was driving westbound on NC 211 when White traveled into the path of Simmons’ Tahoe, said Trooper White.
Ms. White was charged with failure to yield the right of way.
Ms. White was transported by Bladen County EMS to Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare for treatment of her injuries.
