A home on NC 131 near Bladenboro was damaged following a chimney fire on Tuesday.
Jackie Coleman, with the Bladenboro Fire Department said there was a chimney fire which led to the collapse of the chimney. Damage was contained to the chimney, the wall, fire place and a portion of the attic.
No one was reported injured due to the fire. The Bladenboro, Dublin, Elizabethtown, and Clarkton fire departments along with Bladen County EMS and Bladen County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the fire.
