Bladenboro Middle School held a pep rally and cut down the basketball nets to celebrate 4 consecutive perfect seasons turned in by their athletic teams this season. In fact the Bulldogs have closed the 2021/2022 school year with 45 consecutive wins.

The streak started with Coach Steve Thurman’s soccer team winning their last 5 matches of the season. Then both Coach Joe Gore’s Bulldog Boys basketball team and Coach Otis Evans’ Lady Bulldog Girls basketball team won Waccamaw Middle School ‘A’ Conference Championships with perfect 10-0 records.

The trend continued in the spring as Coach Tim Benton’s Bulldog baseball team posted a perfect 10-0 record, and Coach Evans’ Lady Bulldog softball team also finished with a perfect 10-0 record. Both the baseball and softball teams won Waccamaw Middle School ‘A’ Conference Championships.

“The hard work by these Bulldogs has paid off and they have so much to be proud of,” said Evans. “It’s a great day to be a Bulldog!”
