The Bladenboro Police Department is collecting donations for the annual Christmas for Kids program. You can take your donations to the Bladenboro Police Department or to Bladenboro Town Hall.

Bladenboro Police Chief Chris Hunt said the teachers at Bladenboro Primary School will select 25 students to participate in the Christmas for Kids program.

“We make sure they have a warm coat, under garments, and three to five outfits to wear,” said Chief Hunt.

He added the students also purchase hygiene and toiletry products. Chief Hunt said the students also purchase new shoes.

Once the shopping trip is completed, the students are then treated to lunch at the Pizza Palace, said Chief Hunt.

The car club also supplies bicycles for the students.
