The Bladenboro Police Department recently received some good news. Chief Chris Hunt said the department has earned a 1A rating from the NC Law Enforcement Training and Standards.
Chief Hunt said that Training and Standards is supposed to inspect each police department’s records every two years. He explained that the inspector comes into the department and reviews personnel and training records to make sure they are properly maintained.
Chief Hunt said the review is to ensure that all records are properly maintained and that each officer’s training is current and there are no gaps in their training.
