The Bladenboro Rotary Club was honored to have District Governor, Nancy Carr, and Assistant District Governor, Jim Brooks attend the September 19th meeting. Rotarians were given updates for the District and Rotary International.
Certificates were presented to members for years of service to the local club. Receiving honors were Mr. Charles Bridger, 55 years of service, and Livingston Lewis for 28 years.
The Bladenboro Rotary Club leads with the motto “Service Above Self.” For 55 years, the local civic group has awarded members for service and supported deserving Bladen County students with scholarships.
Bladenboro Rotary Club meets every Monday night at the Bladenboro Community Building.
