Bladenboro Rotary Club hears how Parent and Community involvement is important in education

Bladenboro Rotary Club was informed on concerns in education at their Monday evening meeting. Ms. Ann Brown, Principal at Booker T. Washington Elementary School, spoke to the Bladenboro Rotarians at the April 24th meeting.

Ms. Brown shared her experiences as a new Principal. Ms. Brown pointed out that one of the greatest concerns she has observed is discipline, according to Rotarian Pam Benton. Benton also stated, Ms. Brown stressed the importance of parent and community involvement in preparing the children of Bladen County for future success.
