WHITEVILLE – The Bladenboro Rotary Club held its’ 18th annual golf tournament Friday at Land O Lakes Golf Course with awards presented to the top three teams.

First place in the tournament went to the team of Livingston Lewis, Michael Lewis, Larry Mitchell and Bill Settlemeyer.

Finishing in second place was the team of Ronald Russ, Kent Packer, B. C. Smith and Linwood Hedgepeth.

In third place was the team of Ricky Wright, Marty Davenport, Jerry Clark and Brad Roberts.

The closest-to-the pin award for the women went to Elaine Mebane and for the men it went to Kent Packer.

The money raised by the tournament will help fund two scholarships that the Bladenboro Rotary present each year at West Bladen High School. The Bladenboro Rotary Club has presented the J. W. and Martha Black Memorial scholarships for over 40 years.
