Bobby Davis, former greenskeeper at Vineyard Golf at White Lake, on August 20 had his second ace of his career.
Davis, a greenskeeper of note in eastern North Carolina and one of the better players for many years, was playing with Mark Mendell, Mark Harritan and Hutch Glenn when he aced the 180 yard fifth hole. His last hole-in-one was in 1973.
