Boost Boro Holds Spring Fest bladenonline 04/26/2016 0 COMMENTS
If the weather forecast holds, it should be an outstanding weather day with very low humidity, temperature between 58-82 and only a slight 10% chance of rain for the Annual Spring Fest, April 30th at the Bladenboro Farmer’s Market.
The Master Growers will be set up in front of the building selling plants (both vegetable and landscape) between approximately 8:30 until 12 noon. The front “retail section” of the Farmers market will be open and staffed starting at 8:30 and will remain open throughout the day on Saturday for retail customers.
The Grill Masters will be busy preparing the food during the morning so it will be available to serve up to customers between 1:00 and 4:00 (or until we sold-out).
The band, Loose Floorboards will be playing classic oldies, country and oldies between 1:00 and 4:00. A special shout-out goes to Dan Allen and Four County EMC for the generous support and contribution provided to Boost the Boro, Inc to off-set the cost of this entertainment, to Joyce Walters and Walter’s Farms for making the stage/trailer available and to Tom Lancaster and Rufus Duckworth and Oral Cheshire in making sure there is a power source available to the band.
