Spread the love

Eric and Joyce Cain opened a new florist in Bladenboro and celebrated with a Grand Opening on Saturday morning hosted by Boost the Boro, Inc.
Before the ribbon was cut, Terry Nance, President of Boost the Boro, presented the couple with a gift on behalf of the community oriented non-profit. Rev. Cooper offered a prayer for the owners and new business.
The ribbon was cut and the conversations began.
“I appreciate you contributing to the economic development here in Bladenboro, personally,” said Blake Proctor, Bladenboro Town Manager.
“If Boost the Boro can help you in anyway you let us know. We are here to support you.” Nance said.
“I am glad we got a florist now,” Bladenboro Town Commissioner, Sara Benson told Mrs. Cain, “Congratulations!”
Mr. and Mrs. Cain were asked about the name of the new establishment. Mrs. Cain said, “It was my mother’s name, she was a farmer’s wife and she was very talented. Eric is actually the one who came up with the name.”
Mr. and Mrs. Cain owned Erica Dawn Flowers in Bladenboro for 24 years, before closing the doors several years ago.
After talking it over with the building owner, the couple decided to open a new florist. The shop opened the first Tuesday after Labor Day this year.
“We can’t carry everything, but we have a variety of gifts, jewelry, along with the flowers and other items,” Mrs. Cain said.

The florist is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday they are open from 8:30 a.m. to 12 Noon.
Wednesday the store will be closed, but Mrs. Cain said her numbers are available for anyone needing assistance.
Her shop number is 910-863-9998 and her mobile number is 910-862-9350.
Let’s Belle Designs is located at 416 West Seaboard Street in Bladenboro. Customers may visit the store’s website as well, letabelledesigns.com. “The customers can go there too and the orders will come straight to me.“
The new florist plans to hand out flyers during the Beast Feast on the Saturday, October 26.
