Both of Bladen Recreation’s 12U All-Star basketball teams were eliminated in State-Wide Activities Committee Sectional Tournament play Saturday.
In the boys sectional at Wilson, the Bladen County 12U Boys dropped a tight 32-28 decision to the host Wilson team. Lee County then defeated Bladen County in an elimination game.
In the girls sectional at Roseboro, Bladen County suffered a 12-point loss to Sampson County in their tourney opener Friday night. The Bladen team then lost an elimination game Saturday.
